A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

Tuotantosuunta on maatalous- ja puutarhayrityksen taloudellisesti merkittävin tuotantosuunta. Tieto lasketaan käyttäen Standard Output -menetelmää.
Jos yli 2/3-osaa tilan kokonaistuotosta tulee yhdestä tuotteesta, kuuluu tila tätä tuotetta vastaavaan tuotantosuuntaan. Ellei tällaista tuotetta löydy, tila luokittuu sekatilaksi.

1) Avomaan puutarhatuotanto.

Muu nautakarjatalous 2)

2) Yhdistetty lypsykarja ja naudanlihan tuotanto.

Muu laidunkarja 3)

3) Sisältää lammas-, vuohi- ja hevostalouden vuoteen 2020 saakka. Vuodesta 2021 vain lammas- ja vuohitalouden.
